I went to town with my new all in one tool on some chairs from a yard sale! I needed to totally sand the captains chair! UGH I really do not like sanding chairs! I also needed to sand a chair that I had started to paint and realized I had to sand it even more because the paint was peeling as I painted...it was ugly!
This is my all in one tool...by Ridgid! I LOVE IT!!!!
and I just discovered today a reason to love it even more! Power tools attract help!
Those are not my arms!
This is really a wonderful tool...I love it! Next a paint sprayer! The chairs came out nice and compared to the last 4 I have done by hand it was so much quicker!
Here she is all primered and ready for paint! I asked friends on Facebook to offer up some suggestions on how to paint her...I have started and will hopefully finish tomorrow! I will show her off when she is done but I just had to share! I hope you enjoyed this a fraction as much as I did! Whew! I am tired and so very in love with my power tool!
Have a great one! I am off to paint her some more!

Hi Laurie! So fun to be over here after just emailing with you! :-) You did an absolutely fabulous job on that chair and I'm super jealous of your awesome power tools. Never knew I would say something like that! Ha! You were so sweet to mention us in the post and we are always thrilled to make a new friend here in blogland. Thank you so much for joining Inspiration Friday this week and we can't wait to see more of you in the future!

love those power tools!
ReplyDeleteYou have a paint sprayer! So jealous! I feel I could get so much more done with one of those. And I love the chairs. Can't wait to see how you end up painting them!
ReplyDeleteLaurie! I forgot to come over here to say hi! See another dose of the picket fence sisters...as if you haven't had enough of us through email...lol ;)
ReplyDeleteI too am so jealous of your power tools. I am in the middle of a kitchen remodel and I could use all of your tools...wanna ship them to Kentucky for me??
So glad you found us over At The Picket Fence. Can't wait to see all of the wonderful projects you have in store!

Love your tools, Laurie! The way your husband worked on that chair is remarkable as well. :) It’s been more than a year since you’ve done this project, so I hope the tools are still working properly. Keeping them free from dust and other debris really goes a long way, I tell you. Oh, what color did you choose for the chair? :)

That's a good tool.:) Let me check if United Tools Clayton has that tool.
